Mum’s Banana Bread
This yummy banana bread recipe is the perfect quick snack. After trying many recipes this one is the most moist and flavourful (the secret is ripe bananas and a touch of orange juice). No mixer needed!

Step-By-Step Photo Recipe (For Beginners)
Ingredients
– 3 or 4 ripe bananas, mashed
– 2/3 cup sugar
– 1/3 cup melted butter
– 2 tablespoons orange juice
– 1 teaspoon vanilla
– 1 egg
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
– Preheat the oven to 375°F (175°C)
– Mash bananas in a big bowl
– Mix the melted butter (you can put butter in a bowl and microwave it until melted 20 seconds at a time), sugar, vanilla, egg (new to cracking eggs? crack your egg in a different bowl then transfer it) and orange juice into the mashed bananas
– Mix in the flour and baking soda (make sure the baking soda is well mixed into the flour before incorporating)
– Pour mixture into a buttered and floured 4×8 inch loaf pan
– Bake for 50 minutes- 1 hour (until the top is golden brown and the bread is cooked all the way through)
– Cool on a rack
– Remove from pan and slice to serve
